10 Major Mistakes in the Drama Ae Ishq Junoon That Could Have Been Fixed
Hello, friends! Ae Ishq Junoon has caught everyone’s attention, and while many of us find it quite interesting, there are still some aspects that have left us wondering. In today’s video, I’ll be pointing out 10 major mistakes in the writing that I believe could have been easily avoided, and in some cases, even fixed through better direction. These mistakes are probably why the drama, which started off so well, now feels a bit boring. You know, it took off brilliantly, but now it doesn’t have the same appeal. If these mistakes hadn’t happened, perhaps the drama would have been a huge blockbuster.

Let’s start with Mistake #1:
1. A Lack of Seriousness in Handling the Character’s Mental State
One of the biggest issues arises when the police officer takes Aman’s statements seriously, even though her mental state has been shown as unstable. Throughout the drama, Aman struggles to recall important details and is depicted as being mentally compromised. Yet, the police officer acts as if her statements are credible enough to arrest an entrepreneur, ruin his reputation, and even have him fired from his company. This entire scenario doesn’t make sense. How can a police officer act so seriously based on the statements of someone who can barely remember her own name?
2. Nazia’s Memory Loss
In another key scene, Nazia is asked about her friend, but she doesn’t even remember she had one! She’s unaware of her own past and seems completely oblivious to the fact that she had even been involved in a complicated situation. How can she claim that her mental state is only 20% affected when she can’t even recall basic details like preparing her brother for an event? This is a massive plot inconsistency.
3. Inconsistent Medical Treatment
Aman’s mental health treatment is another issue. The drama presents the idea that a doctor is secretly injecting her with something to keep her mind confused, following a threat from Afia. If that’s the case, the narrative could have shown Aman being continuously treated in a hospital. Instead, she’s discharged within a few days, and her family members are taking care of her. So why is it that she seems to have forgotten everything? It doesn’t add up that she’s being portrayed as forgetting everything while still being treated for her mental condition.
4. The Police’s Lack of Action
Once the police arrest Raheem, there is barely any follow-up investigation. In real life, when someone is arrested for a major crime, there’s a continuous investigation into the facts and evidence. But here, the police seem to do absolutely nothing after Raheem is arrested. The officer, who was initially shown to be suspicious and meticulous, doesn’t even follow up on any leads. The entire investigation seems to be put on pause.

5. Raheem’s Unnecessary Confusion
Even after everything that’s happened, Raheem still goes back to meet Aman. He had already told his uncle that he didn’t need any of his services, so why is he going to Aman, the very person who is not supporting him? If he’s already convinced that something unfair happened to him, why meet with her again? This is a major inconsistency in the storyline.
6. Aman’s Confusing Statements
In one of the upcoming episodes, Aman confidently claims that Raheem Ali Nawaz is the one who tried to kill her. But how can she be so sure when she doesn’t remember anything? She can’t even recall basic details like what she did earlier or even her brother’s shoes! She’s been portrayed as having serious memory problems, so how can she be so confident in accusing someone? This is a huge plot hole!
7. Raheem’s Alleged Misdeeds Are Overplayed
Throughout the drama, Raheem is shown as being a victim of a serious allegation. Yet, despite being wronged, he doesn’t seem to fight back in a sensible way. He should have been more proactive in defending himself. Why is he letting his life fall apart without even trying to clear his name properly?
8. Unrealistic Dialogue and Character Motivation
There are several moments where characters say things that don’t make sense in the context of their situation. For example, when Raheem is accused, the tone of the dialogue and the character motivations feel off. Why is he not acting like someone who is under serious threat? The drama fails to show a realistic response from the characters given the gravity of the situation.
9. A Lack of Emotional Depth
One of the biggest issues with this drama is the lack of emotional depth in crucial moments. When a character is going through a traumatic experience, we expect to see their emotions portrayed more effectively. But instead, we get vague expressions and underdeveloped emotional responses. This makes the characters less relatable and the drama less engaging.
10. Unnecessary Filler Content
Finally, there’s the issue of filler content. As the drama progresses, we start to see scenes that don’t really contribute to the storyline. These fillers not only drag down the pacing but also make it harder for viewers to stay engaged with the main plot. The drama should focus on advancing the storyline rather than adding unnecessary filler.
Conclusion:
These are just a few of the major mistakes I believe are dragging Ae Ishq Junoon down. If the writers and directors had fixed these issues, this could have been one of the best dramas out there. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
